Paxton Henrie Couldn’t be Happier that He Started His Fibrenew Journey Early in Life

Paxton Henrie, Owner/Operator of Fibrenew Northen Utah, shared his story and thoughts about how it feels to be his own boss.

At just 23 years old, Paxton Henrie’s journey with Fibrenew is nothing short of a testament to determination and the power of a supportive community. His story is one that echoes the spirit of entrepreneurship and resilience–proving that a Fibrenew franchise can be a valid career path regardless of what stage someone is at in life.

Before diving into the world of leather and vinyl restoration, Paxton worked the hustle and bustle of a car dealership in the city of Logan. It was there that he crossed paths with Stirling, the then-current owner of Fibrenew Northern Utah.

Watching Stirling meticulously repair and rejuvenate car interiors sparked something within Paxton—a spark that would soon ignite into his own journey with Fibrenew.

“I was impressed by the quality of the work, and how unique the process was,” said Paxton. “I thought to myself, ‘Hey, I could totally see myself doing this in the future.”

With a longing for independence and a knack for hands-on work, Paxton had been toying with the idea of purchasing a business for some time. 

Fibrenew’s blend of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship seemed like the perfect fit. After attending in-person training, Paxton was ready to roll up his sleeves and embark on his new venture.

But as with any new endeavor, challenges arose. The transition from training to real-world application proved to be more challenging than expected. Paxton found himself facing obstacles he hadn’t anticipated. Yet, amid uncertainty, he found solace in Fibrenew’s unwavering support system.

Paxton recalled: “I’ll admit I was struggling a bit at the beginning. There were many challenges I hadn’t encountered during training, but thanks to the endless support from the Fibrenew team, I was able to put everything together.”

With guidance and perseverance, Paxton continued to overcome those challenges, honing his skills with each repair. 

It was during a pivotal moment, after completing a demanding 5-week reupholstery job solo, that Paxton realized the extent of his growth. He had come full circle, mastering his craft and embracing the challenges that came his way.

Today, Paxton thrives in the freedom and flexibility that running his own Fibrenew franchise affords him. 

Every day brings new situations, each with its own unique obstacles and opportunities for growth. Paxton reflects on his journey now:

“I didn’t know it at the time, but Fibrenew is exactly where I belong; freed from any financial and time barriers. I have more time to bond with my wife, I enjoy the constant variety in the work I do, and I feel confident my future is secure with Fibrenew.”

Paxton is sure to serve as an inspiration for young aspiring entrepreneurs out there. We look forward to his continued success and growth at the helm of Fibrenew Northern Utah for years to come!
