“Scott Neal just came out to our Doylestown, PA, home and did a car seat repair for us right here. We bought a nearly-new car that had two flaws: a small cigarette burn in the back seat and one teeny, tiny burn in the front seat.
I emailed pictures to Scott and we talked about possible solutions. He gave me an estimate for recovering the seats (which was way more than I wanted to do) and for just repairing the holes. Due to the location of the holes, he said he couldn't guarantee that the repair would hold indefinitely, but we decided to go ahead and take our chances anyway.
When he got here he saw that the front seat burn was very minor. He suggested just touching that one up instead of doing a full-on repair.
Scott was done in about 45 minutes. The backseat looks really good. You can't tell where the damage was unless you know where to look. We paid less than $100 for both seats.
