Fibrenew Puyallup Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service

Baefyre Enterprises Inc. DBA Fibrenew Puyallup

Terms and Conditions

All estimates are contingent on actual inspection. During the inspection, we identify and communicate any potential issues that may arise in the process of our services. However, we will not be responsible for any issues that could not be predicted or identified upon the inspection.

Approval of quotes or jobs, whether via electronically, verbal or any other means of communication grants acceptance of all terms and conditions.

Fibrenew uses proprietary practices developed and proven by hundreds of Fibrenew technicians throughout the US and Canada. But due to variations in natural materials we cannot guarantee that our service will produce “like new” results.

Any cleaning process may cause material to stiffen or embrittle. Shrinkage is unpredictable and changes in shade or finish may happen. Naturally occurring cuts and scars on skins may be revealed. Uneven matches may be more evident after cleaning. Liquids may cause color to bleed, resulting in color change. Hardware like nails or buckles may bleed onto leather. Body oils absorbed in to the leather may affect the outcome of our services. We do not guarantee that all body oils can be removed during our cleaning process.

Fibrenew materials represent the most advanced water based color and dye system. Nevertheless, as color is influenced by so many factors, especially the light source (daylight, fluorescent, LED, etc.), we cannot guarantee a perfect match.

New coverings are constructed based on templates created from the panels of the original piece. We cannot be responsible for minor dimensional variation resulting from reassembling an existing pattern. We stand behind the craftsmanship, such as stitching and assembly, but we do not warrant the piece based on subjective assessments, such as “softness” or “comfort” compared to the original. This is a rebuilt piece of used furniture and we do not represent it will be “like new” when complete.

Dacron fiber, foam cushions and down filling are replaced, if based on our judgement replacement is required, using industry standard new materials and practices. Estimates do NOT include new fillings unless requested at the time of inspection. We do not warrant these materials based on subjective assessments, such as “softness” or “comfort” or feel compared to the original.

Previously unknown damage revealed during the process of a job is not covered by the original estimate and will be separately negotiated with the client prior to work being completed.

Leather is a natural product and may show wrinkles, scars from minor cuts or insect bites. We inspect all hides and try to work around such minor flaws, but will not be responsible for repair or replacement of hides showing such natural variations. New leather is stiffer than worn, soiled material we are replacing. The finished piece will feel different from the worn upholstery and filling materials of the original.

Aniline leather has been left in its most natural state.  The dyes used on this type of leather are transparent. Aniline leather is more porous which allows for body oils, spills, and everyday living stains to soak in to the leather. This material is unpredictable as there are many uncontrollable factors at play. We can not guarantee a “like new” result with any type of service that we provide.

Estimates for materials quantities (including fabrics and leather) are made in good faith, based on experience, but we will not be responsible for cost or delays in procuring additional material if required. We will inspect the material prior to use but will not be responsible for flaws or shortages that may occur in the course of assembling. We do not accept responsibility for the suitability of customer supplied materials.

We offer good faith estimates for time to completion and delivery but will not be responsible for delays in meeting these estimates. We will make every effort to regularly communicate as to the progress of work but are not responsible for delays in delivery or installation.

All offers or discounts must be presented at or before time of service. Taxes are applied before discount. We can not combine any offers or discounts.

Travel charges may be added to the invoice for mileage and time if service address is outside of Fibrenew Puyallup’s territory.

Delivery/Pickup charges may be added for any large project that has to be completed in the shop to include rental equipment for delivery and pickup and any additional labor needed. These fees are not included in the written estimate unless requested by customer.

Any completed projects not picked up within 30 days of notice may be subjected to additional storage fees of $50 per week. Any project not picked up within 90 days of notice becomes the property of Fibrenew Puyallup.

Unless otherwise stated in estimate, upholstery jobs require a 50% deposit. Unless otherwise stated in estimate, deposits are non-refundable once the order has been placed. In lieu of a signed estimate, payment of deposit shall serve as acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms.

We accept all forms of payment. Card transactions will be processed through Quickbooks.  If a check is provided as a form of payment and is returned as NSF an additional charge of $75 will be added to the invoice.

All payments are required at the time of service unless indicated otherwise on the invoice.  Any invoice that has not been paid entirely by the date indicated as the due date will incur an additional charge of $50 per 30 days that it is past due.

We try to assure your satisfaction, but cannot provide refunds on any repairs, cleaning or dyeing.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
