- 2017 Ford Explorer in its Platinum edition had a leather dashboard that began peeling due to prolonged sun exposure. The leather had shrunk significantly, making it nearly impossible to stretch it back to its original position. FibrenewNCD massaged the leather until it regained its pliability, allowing us to push it back underneath the vent. We then secured it with staples, and contact adhesive was used to fix a rip in the leather simultaneously, smoothing it out and restoring its appearance to that of new.
