A year ago, fire swept through this popular mid-town eatery. During the post-fire renovations, one of their new vinyl booths was damaged when something heavy fell on top of it. The result: scratches and tears that went all the way through the leather-like vinyl. “This is truly magic! I was searching for a new leather sectional sofa on line since one of the cushions on mine was badly scratched by a cat (torn through the leather in 3 spots and scratched all over). I suddenly came across the Fibrenew webpage and I decided, with hesitation, to contact Saul.....After sending him pics, he assured me that my couch wasn't so bad (trust me, it was awful!), and that he could repair it, and match the color....We made an app't, he came with a little wagon hitched to his bike, and took my cushion to his place for 1 week. When he returned, I couldn't believe the magic he had done...and the price was very reasonable!! I saved myself from having to purchase a new sofa, and aside from the price, I love the couch I have! I am now considering having him "condition" the entire couch, meaning, clean and oil it, a process he does in the home, given that my sofa is well over 15 years old! I am not one to write reviews, but Saul is a very unusual person with a very unusual service....He offers that expertise, touch and satisfaction that has long disappeared from our lives, and is such a refreshing experience.”
