“Had Scott out the other day to repair a leather cushion that had some of its finish removed. It was a fairly expensive piece of a much larger sectional and the scar that was left was really noticeable. I was beside myself for awhile not having any knowledge that something like that could even be repaired. I had tried some dyes that I got from Amazon, but the dye just made the scar even more noticeable to me. So Scott dropped by after I sent him the photos in the original quote request and went to work. He brought everything he needed and was very professional and meticulous. I couldn't be happier. It came out great. I can tell something was done, but the average guest in my home probably wouldn't be able to.
At the end of the session I asked him for a referral for some stitching that had pulled out on an ottoman. Again, it was unsightly and I was concerned that the stitching could get pulled or ripped out further, ruining the cushion. He said that he had his sewing supplies with him in his car and that he could take care of it! Awesome!
I had searched and searched on line for someone to address these repairs, and I check things like Yelp reviews to see how others' experiences were. Never had I come across Fibrenew, let alone someone who could restitch/repair leather furniture like this! Thank you Scott!! Your great reviews are well earned!!
