We are at a VRBO in the area and accidently punctured a hole in a loveseat. Julie did a wonderful job patching and color matching! You can't even see where it happened. She was friendly, efficient, and so helpful. We appreciate her expertise! The owner was also pleased.
We really enjoyed working with Julie on the repair of our tufted leather couch. It looks so much better! She came quickly, was reasonable in her pricing and was very knowledgeable about leather. My Honda CRV Hybrid had some dashboard work needed that would have cost me much more to replace the entire dash. This was an unbelievably great experience. Julie came recommended from the furniture store (Mobilia) where we purchased our Gamma sofa. It's four years old and was developing a small area where the leather seemed bubbly or scratched or something. It looked bad and I thought we might have to get Gamma to make us a new cushion or something. Anyway, out comes Julie of Fibrenew Asheville. She diagnosed it as chemical reaction (maybe suntan lotion or bug spray which we wear all the time) and set to work. A few hours later, WOW! It looks like new. I had her clean the whole sofa while she was here (added to the job) and the whole thing looks like it just got here. Love, love, love this excellent work. And I'm so surprised by it. Leather repair by Julie at Fibernew- Her work is to put it in two words- simply excellent-. I had a fairly long rip in my leather sectional, I thought having a professional repair it would still leave a visible mark of stitches. To my suprise Julie's work make the repair look like it had never had a rip. What can I say?? She far exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend her for leather repairs.

Julie worked MIRACLES on our sun-bleached, cat-scratched, dried- out 17-year-old leather furniture that we failed miserably to re-dye ourselves. Friends who just saw the results swear like we do that our sofas and wing chairs look BRAND NEW! And she was a total delight to have around – considerate, funny, self-sufficient, and so wise about solving problems at a variety of price points. As Julie said, quality old furniture is made so much better than the new stuff, and we're so thankful she rescued the sofas and chairs we love!

Our StressLess sofa, recliner and ottomans bore evidence of their 15+ year age - evidence created not only by family and friends, but also by a half dozen dogs and cats that added their signatures over the years. These unsightly marks included a wealth of various stains, scratches and a small cut or two.
Julie restored the look of these items completely. They now look as new as the day they were originally delivered!
Bottom line, I can't say enough good things about the results she achieved, the service she provided or the attitude she displayed. I will use her company's service again whenever the need arises.
I am so very thankful for Julie and the repair work she did for me. The top of the middle console in my car was torn, unsightly and extremely uncomfortable for my arm to rest on. I typically don't write reviews but Julie absolutely deserves praise for restoring my Eames Lounge Chair and replacing the missing buttons on my sofa. I've been living with an unsightly cut in the leather along with normal wear and tear that diminished the beauty of the piece. Julie came in, repaired the damage, cleaned the leather and restored the worn patches. It's like she waved her magic wand and the damage was erased. I can’t recall a more delightful visit from someone who came to repair a broken item in our home. Julie was not only professional and efficient she was also friendly, outgoing and fascinating. She was unfazed by our 2 dogs who thoroughly sniffed her when she arrived, telling me about her rescue dogs. We bought a brand new couch that unfortunately our dog's flea and tick medicine (which we no longer use THAT brand) literally took the color off of the couch. We contacted Fibrenew and I sent Julie pictures. She knew what kind of leather it was and actually looked up the brand etc. She told me she couldn't make it perfect but that we would not notice it. I was okay with that...it was a taupe couch with white spots all over it....so anything would be better. However, Julie is brilliant and talented!!!! It IS perfect!!! I can't see or find where the spots were. She matched up the color/dye (not my area of expertise so not sure of the verbiage) up so perfectly that there is no way even I can see the spots and I know where they were!! So, I decided I needed some help. I searched for someone to patch a couple of small tears and to clean up where my dogs had scratched the seats. Luckily, Julie at Fibrenew came to the rescue!
Julie did a quick estimate from some pictures I sent her. The mobile service was perfect and she came to my house so I could other errands while she worked her magic. Julie came to the house and made the inside of the car look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! The seats and the steering wheel look like new!!!! WOW. I was impressed. You will be too.

Julie did a great job of renewing the leather on a 30 year-old sectional sofa! She really knows her stuff and informs you of all your options. She took an old, high quality sectional (almost) back to it's prime.

Julie is not only highly skilled at repairing old and damaged leather, she is a wonderful, trustworthy person. We had a complicated project--an aging leather sectional that had been chewed in multiple places by dogs. It was scratched, dirty and stained. She figured out how to minimize the leather that we needed to purchase by using existing pieces, hidden pieces, etc. She also re-covered bar stools, re-covered two large chair cushions and sewed two leather throw pillows for us. All at an extremely reasonable price. She made our living room work. Great job!

Julie did an excellent job with our Stickley furniture. She sourced and fabricated new leather for both our Morris Recliner and our Club Chair. Not an easy task for Stickley furniture. Julie is a top professional in every way possible! She seems a miracle worker when it comes to repairing, restoring, and cleaning leather furniture. In addition to that, she promptly responds to inquiries, provides accurate estimates (with very fair pricing), works in and out of your home, and simply gets the job done with great expertise. We have a contemporary leather couch, which was severely damaged from way back when our three cats were still kittens. The damage was so bad that I was embarrassed to have guests sit on the couch. As a last-ditch effort to save this couch, I contacted Julie and scheduled her for a free consultation visit. Only a week later my couch looked (and continues to look) like new! Julie repaired the seat cushions out of the house and the armrests (damaged with countless scratches of all sizes) were repaired in-home. Julie was prompt and professional. She described the process involved with dyeing my driver’s seat and answered all my questions. We had a very well worn bench in our retail location that had seen better days for sure. The padding was cracked and flaking off, there were splits in excess of a ft. Julie from Fibrenew Asheville came by and gave us a very quick assessment. She was confident that she could fix the situation. WOW!!! the end result was far far batter than what we were expecting! not only was the job done extraordinarily well but done quickly. The end result looks better than the original product. We had a brand new leather chair (one week old) that got some adhesive on the seat. I thought it was ruined.. Julie worked a miracle on this seat, dying the three white spots. No one, including me, will ever know anything happened. I am beyond thankful for her professionalism and expertise.

Julie was right on with a repair for my 2010 Tahoe dash. It had a split above the hump on drivers side and a split on the corner where the airbag is stored. She was prompt when she came out and her quote for the repair was very close to the total charge of the repair she was very friendly and very accommodating as the first visit she had to set up had to be changed for another day. The repair was perfect for us And the color blended perfect with the interior. We are very satisfied with the repair and that the charge for her work was very reasonable. I would highly recommend her work for any repairs of this sort. She is worth it.
I am very impressed with the repair Julie did on my Leather sectional. The back side of my leather sectional is a vinyl material and it had a puncture hole from being banged into by a delivery company bringing furniture into my home. It also had a dimple effect around the hole. I was devastated as the leather sectional was only 6 months old. Julie arrived on time and performed her magic! You can't see where the puncture hole is anymore. She also was able to make the dimple around the hole flatten out. Not only does Julie work hard to give her customers an amazing result, she is also super friendly and very meticulous about the work she does. Thanks Julie for a job well done! Julie restored the leather of this 60 year old chair and its twin to a forgotten level of beauty. Her work is outstanding. She was on time and on budget. The charge was reasonable and fair. Julie just finished repairing 4 leather barstools that were covered in cat scratches from our fur babies. The barstools look BRAND NEW! In addition, she repaired deep “cuts, pulled fabric, and scratches” in two red leather wing back chairs. The difference is amazing! She matched the red dye perfectly (not an easy color) and the chairs look amazing. We highly recommend Julie. She was professional and courteous!

Julie came to our house and worked wonders on our Flexsteel Latitudes leather couch and ottoman. She has an excellent eye for color blending and was able to clean, condition and dye the leather, such that the furniture now looks good as new! She is efficient. Her price is reasonable. Julie did a fantastic job repairing a spot on the passenger’s front seat of our car! The spot was “white” compared to the normal taupe color of the seats! The white spot resulted from my attempt to remove spilled finger nail polish off the seat! When Julie completed the repair, I could not tell that the “color-removing” incident had ever happened! Needless to say, I am very happy with the results! Julie is very nice to work with! She is professional and works to please you! The price she charged me to do my repair, I felt, was very fair!! We have a very nice 10-year-old leather couch that had a frayed tear in it, as well as some "stretch marks" that indicated that the leather would be giving way in the near future. When Julie came over to the studio, she looked at the damage, and recommended replacing the whole panel--and it was obvious that she was right. Fortunately, we had extra leather from a matching ottoman that we could use to replace the damaged section, and when Julie returned the repaired cushion to us the next day, WE WERE THRILLED. The stitching matched the old stitching exactly, and we basically rescued a $2500 couch for $200. She was great at communicating questions and arrival times, the delivery was fast and I will be recommending Fibrenew to everyone I know. Really, really pleased with the entire transaction. (And the price!)

Ah Mah Zing. Julie came right to my house and worked her behind off for several hours making my car look brand new. My driver seat was all cracked and discolored, and when she was done it honestly looks like a new seat. She cleaned all my carpets and mats and made them look new.
