Fibrenew was founded in 1985, and expanded into Canada in 1987, New Zealand in 1997, U.S.A. in 1999, Mexico and Australia in 2000, Puerto Rico in 2002, Ecuador in 2003, Colombia in 2004 and Italy in 2006. The Bay Area location has been servicing this community since 2008.

Fibrenew is a business solution to a serious environmental problem. Each year, thousands of tons of plastics are disposed in landfill sites. These products are not biodegradable and can pollute landfills for hundreds of years.
