I highly recommend Bob. I had a one inch gash in my dash that over the years got wider and as the the sun baked the vinyl. I though it was too late but Bob saved my Dash! Thanks Bob.

I'mWe have had 2 large leather sleeper couches that we bought new back in the late 1980s. The leather was from Natuzzi and was thick and durable but the over the years from use the surface dye faded and wore out. I did a Google search for leather dyers and found Bob Dowdy of Fibrenew South on Long Island NY. Bob visited our home to evaluate our two couches and concluded that the leather could be repaired and re-dyded to match the original color and texture. Bob also suggested new stuffing for the armrests. Fortunately we were able to remove the sections needing repair and dye and brought them to Bob's shop rather than Bob doing the re-dye work in our home. The work that Bob did to bring our couches back to like new condition and color was simply astounding. The color match was perfect and the various surface leather scratches were repaired. Real leather couches nowadays are very expensive so it might make sense to check with Bob to see if your leather furniture is worth saving. I couldn't recommend Bob any more highly.
Right before New Year's Eve, I burned my leather sofa. Reached out to Bob at Suffolk Fibernew. Came and fixed the damaged area.

Bob repaired our red leather chesterfield sofa and did a really good job on it. The arm and half of the seat of the couch was all worn out and cracked and he repaired it to look just like the other half. We were very pleased with the outcome.

My brother and nephew slid our leather couch down a carpeted stair case. Well , who new we would scrape the leather along the top edges. We thing we just destroyed our couch. Bob is the real deal. I never talked to him before and texted him a picture of my leather club chair. He called me back almost immediately at 7:30 pm. He said that, unfortunately, there was nothing he could do for my particular issue and explained why. He advised that, unless I was sentimental about it, I should just get a new chair. He then entertained my barrage of questions about leather and gave me excellent shopping advice. He did all of this knowing I was not going to hire him for this job.

Bob did a wonderful job on our recliner. He was very thorough and conscientious. He professional attitude was not only noted on how well our recliner looks but how pleasant and cordial he was.
We had Bob by for repair of a leather loveseat and chair we thought was unrepairable after accidently damaging them and was all set to put the set out at the curb. The finished product was so good we decided to keep the set for several more years and this was all done at the fraction of the cost of a new set. Bob is very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend him.

Stanley's Furniture referred me to Bob at Fibrenew for my couch repair. This was after I tried a "do it yourself" video on You tube, that made it worse! Bob was great to work with. Awesome work - i just bought a new seat for my bike i figured i could do it myself but when i put it on the ground i scraped the bottom on the cement. Bob took one look at it and said that's nothing ill make it look like you just pulled it out of the box. I dropped by seat off to Bob Dowdy and he fixed it the same day. Bob Dowdy did a magnificent job! He attempted to remove a stain on a delicate fabric that several people had already attempted with no luck. Bob made my brand new leather couch look brand new again after my cat clawed it up! You can't even tell there was any damage, there were several punctures! I cant believe how good it came out. I have a 2015 Toyota Camry XSE- the seats are light gray, leather & suede and had dye transfer from my dark blue jeans on them. Bob cleaned not only my seats, but also the center console. Looks as good as new! Friendly, great communication, punctual - highly recommend!

Bob did a spectacular job on my 2005 Altima SE-R, had a huge rip in the leather on the driver seat bolster and after only 2 hours the seat looks like brand new!
