Fibrenew Suffolk South Customer Reviews
- I'mWe have had 2 large leather sleeper couches that we bought new back in the late 1980s. The leather was from Natuzzi and was thick and durable but the over the years from use the surface dye faded and wore out. I did a Google search for leather dyers and found Bob Dowdy of Fibrenew South on Long Island NY. Bob visited our home to evaluate our two couches and concluded that the leather could be repaired and re-dyded to match the original color and texture. Bob also suggested new stuffing for the armrests. Fortunately we were able to remove the sections needing repair and dye and brought them to Bob's shop rather than Bob doing the re-dye work in our home. The work that Bob did to bring our couches back to like new condition and color was simply astounding. The color match was perfect and the various surface leather scratches were repaired. Real leather couches nowadays are very expensive so it might make sense to check with Bob to see if your leather furniture is worth saving. I couldn't recommend Bob any more highly.
