I had contemplated repairing this significant tear, just alongside the seam at the top front edge of the seat cushion of my sofa, myself, then, after watching several videos, decided it was all too fiddly. Besides, I love my leather furniture and have no intention of getting anything new any time soon, so instead of taking a chance, possibly making it worse, I decided to go with a professional. Karm was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and even giving me encouragement and advice when I was still thinking about taking a crack at it. He was able to make it to my home within a couple of days, upon my decision, allowing me to entertain at Christmas time without having to break out the “crime scene†tape to block access to that particular seat. He did a great job! He explained the process and the prognosis very clearly and within a couple of hours the challenging repair was completed. Out of the few companies that we got a hold of, Karm of FIBRENEW RICHMOND-DELTA (Est. 1987), responded in a timely fashion and asked about the issue. He didn't seem fazed that it was going to be a small job. He came out with his colleague, Chris, had a look at it and told me what can be done and gave me a quote and the timeline. Some of the other companies wanted us to redo our whole couch and others to wait a few months when they are "free".
Karm and Chris came out within a few days and and the job was done in a timely fashion (in 1.5 days) as they predicted and left us with a great sense lief.

Recently, my cat scratched up my uncles beloved leather chair. I called FIBRENEW, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Just send them a picture of any restoration on email and they send you a quote or price, and from that point just a couple of simple text and phone calls, they meet up at the location of your choice. Karm herr, the owner of the company came to my home and right away, I greeted with friendly and kind soul. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and answer all my questions. Our recent new sectional sofa purchase didn't go as well as we planned. One of the corners of the sofa was damaged upon delivery. We notified the furniture store, and they promised to send over a technician. We are so glad Fibrenew was assigned to this task. Karm did a great job tracking us down to book assessment and repair appointments. Honestly, the furniture store had already promised us a new replacement in DEC, but still give us the option of an earlier repair. After Karm explained to us the details of the repair, removal of broken parts and replace with customized sturdier parts (no duct tape). We decided to give the repair a chance, because it would be a structural frame upgrade overall if done accordingly. Today, Karm and Chris spent a good 4 hours on the repair. I was there to witness the fix, and I can feel their love for the job. They were discussing amongst themselves the damage they found and the different options available. As promised, I saw the parts they replaced, how they secured everything together carefully in an experienced manner.
For the past 2 weeks, I felt the sofa purchase was a failure due to the arrival damage. After the repair, I can tell a different story. Now I understand standard mass produced sofa parts and structure is cheap and fragile. It's good to have Fibrenew come in for a professional assessment, and reinforce the inner frame.

I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to get a company to work on the leather in our Lincoln 1996 Towncar. We were however applying for collector plates and needed the leather re-conditioned. Well, we got a lot more than re-conditioned leather. After working on the car seats for the better part of 5-6 hours, (2 men) they looked brand new. (see pics, before and after) We were more than pleased, and we would highly recommend Fibrenew to anyone needing their many services. We previously owned a service company for over 35 years, and my husband is not easily impressed, but this company impressed him. They arrived ON TIME, on the dot. In today's culture, I believe that says a lot, not to mention their stellar work ethic.
What a fabulous company to deal with! From the initial phone conversation with Karm he seemed so friendly and knowledgeable . Karm and an associate did a difficult seat repair on my Chrysler Town & Country today. I was not sure they would be able to do the repair as the seat was deteriorating quite badly. Karm and Chris did a great job with the mark that I had on the coffee cup holder of my Jeep. They not only repaired the indentation/mark on the holder, they also refreshed the whole area and made the entire coffee cup holder look brand new! Had a few scuffs on the seats of my truck I wanted repaired. Previously used fibrenew in the past with excellent results with the previous owner of the franchise. When we purchased a sofa/bed , the sales agent advised that it will be delivered & set up for us including the disposal of boxes & plastic covers . Unfortunately, the delivery men , claimed it’s not part of the agreement.

I don't always leave reviews, but in this case, I feel that it is absolutely necessary to leave a review for Karm and the Fibrenew team. I highly recommend Fibrenew and Karm for all furniture repair and needs. I had an unfortunate issue where a guest sat on the arm of my sofa and broke the chaise. I had no idea where to start in regards to repairs. I searched google and stumbled upon Karm's Fibrenew page and decided to give him a call. From the moment of first contact, Karm was extremely helpful and he knew exactly how to fix the issue. It was also helpful that they are a mobile repair service, so no transport of the damaged sofa was required. Since I called on a weekend, the repair had to wait till Monday. Once they arrived, him and his associate got to work and immediately fixed my sofa! In addition to fixing my sofa, Karm was also to able to do an added side job of finding my son's baby tooth that was lost as it fell through the sofa's crevices. I seldom send out a review of a service company I deal with, but on this occasion, I must. Dealing with Karm Herr of Fibrenew Richmond/Delta was an absolute pleasure. From the get-go, my call for assistance was answered instantly by Karm. After a brief discussion, we had a plan for rectifying my problem. A few days later upon receiving the parts I had previously ordered from a separate supplier, I called Karm and received an instant answer and requested a service call. An hour later I received a call from him indicating he would be at my home in a half hour (and this was on a Saturday). The repair I required on a reclining chair was a difficult task and required almost a complete disassembly of the chair. He accomplished the task with ease, and my chair is as good as new, he certainly knows his stuff. His attention to detail and problem-solving is exceptional.
His repair was prompt and he left my condo clean as a whistle.
