I have two red leather sofas, one of which had faded a lot in spots due to the sun streaming through the windows in my living room. I don't know how Jeff managed to match the red perfectly but he redyed that sofa and now it looks fabulous - like new - and actually made the other sofa look old. I'm now going to have him recondition the second sofa so it will look as good as the one that Jeff worked on. I highly recommend using Jeff if you need work done on leather.
Jeffrey (Fibrenew Potomac) did an excellent job on our leather sofa restoring the worn middle seat to practically new.
He went above and beyond to try to match the color and is clearly keen to provide excellent customer service.

Jeff was on time and did fantastic work on bringing my couch and chair back to life. He steamed cleaned both pieces, then cleaned them. I didn't know my furniture was that filthy and dirty. Both pieces came back to life!!! I would strongly recommend Fibrenew Potomac to my friends and already have!!! Great job and prices!!

I was so upset that my orange leather chair was destroyed by my cat. I found Fibrenew Potomac off the internet, and based on their reviews - decided to give them a call for an estimate. Their pricing was reasonable, and their pick-up and delivery service was very convenient. More than that - Jeff restored my chair as close to perfect as it was when we bought it. I am so happy I found you guys!! I still keep the chair covered - but not because it's embarrassing to look at. I have been preserving my Lexus LS-430 for 17 years, keeping it in mint condition. The driver's side door armrest had started to crack and deteriorate, and you can not replace the armrest without replacing the entire door panel. I had heard about Mr. Kirby repair/upholstery service (Fibrenew Potomac), so I decided to give him a try. Amazing what he was able to do, in a matter of hours he had my armrest restored to its original look. I am very pleased with the outcome. Thank you Mr. Kirby!
Mr. Jeffrey Kirby did an excellent job of restoring our expensive leather couch. He repaired tires areas and revolted areas that lost color. He is was so polite, professional and reasonable. My husband and I recommend him highly. He gave us a year's warranty and returned quickly to renew a section that needed to be revolted.

We had many damages from our recent move from New England..2 of which were my favorite leather office chair & our leather family room recliner. There were many deep creases in both pieces & he did such a great job , not only repairing the damages but cleaning them as well ..& actually making them better than before. He goes above & beyond. And I must say I was concerned about the office chair because it's white, a very soft leather & it had tears in the leather along with the deep creases. But he did a great job & it looks beautiful now. Not to mention what a nice guy he is ...& so easy to work with. An Army veteran with a big friendly smile to boot. We are so happy to have found FibreNew Potomac to finally repair the various tears and splits that had accumulated over the years on the vinyl in our boat cockpit.
We have been attending boat shows for years and could never find a vendor or product to fix these issues, until a New England owner posted on the Formula Owners forum about his positive experience with the local franchisee.
I contacted Jeffrey (Senior) and sent him some pictures, he sent back an estimate and was willing to travel all the way from Hagerstown to Annapolis for a modest travel fee. He then had to lug LOTS of equipment down a very long stairway to our dock, and then get it on the boat.
He spent over half of the day cleaning and fixing every imperfection we could find and redyeing trim areas that had weathered over the years, and he did it all with patience and a smile.
By the time he had finished,, the cockpit looked almost new again, and there were some pretty large abrasions and tears he had to deal with. He is very talented and his extensive Fibrenew training is evident.
He mentioned that the initial training in Calgary is 2 weeks long, with annual refreshers. It shows.
Just as importantly, I really liked him personally, both for his career service in the Army - although I was Navy 🙂 - and his engaging personality.
Do not hesitate to call Fibrenew Potomac - either Jeffrey or one of his two sons will do a great job for you at a fraction of the cost of reupholstering.
This is the best place to go for getting cat urine smells out of fabric and off of leather! Jeff was professional and personable down to putting on white "booties" when coming into our home. In short order, he had the process underway and in no time at all, the smell was gone, the furniture put back together, and he was on his way. Highly recommended for great service at a very fair price!
When our 22-pound Bengal mix breed cat recently peed on our leather couch, a fabric chair and my much-loved, world-traveled Orvis canvas and leather travel bag, Jeff Kirby and his Fibrenew products made them odor-free again! He is a great guy, an Army veteran with a big smile and easy-going manner who is super easy to work with. He goes the extra step by putting on white disposable "booties" when he comes in the house. And, the price was very reasonable. If you live in and around Bethesda, and need your furniture or car interior cleaned and repaired, call him!
