Chip Cox, Owner / Operator of Fibrenew Greater Memphis.

I am a very customer focused detail-oriented person.  Fibrenew allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, and quality products over a wide range of services to help with your Leather, Vinyl and Plastic needs.

My background is in IT and Project Management.  I worked for Schering-Plough, Merck and Bayer through the buyouts for over 22 years.  When the site on Jackson Ave finally shut down, I had opportunities to move to other Bayer facilities, but decided to remain in Memphis.

My wife and I are lifelong Memphians.  We both attended the University of Memphis back when it was called Memphis State.  We were married shortly after graduation and have three wonderful young sons who also call Memphis home.

As I looked for a new job after the Bayer facility closed, I had time to reflect on what was important to me.  As I did, I came to realize that I was tired of corporate life and wanted to do something where I controlled how high I could climb.  Fibrenew gave me that opportunity.

Fibrenew attracted me for several reasons.  First it helps my customers save money by not having to replace their Leather, Vinyl or Plastic items but renew them.  Secondly Fibrenew is Eco minded.  Their business model is to refurbish items keeping them out of landfills.  Many of their products are water based reducing any fumes associated with repairs.  Finally, the variety of markets with Leather, Vinyl or Plastic products is almost innumerable meaning I will have new and unique challenges every day.

With Fibrenew success is directly dependent on the quality of work that I do.  Every job brings word of mouth and reviews that let other prospective customers know the quality of work and the pride we take in our results.
