Fibrenew Greater Memphis is looking for a few field technicians. At Fibrenew Greater Memphis we repair leather, plastic and vinyl in a variety of markets including Automotive, Residential, Medical, Restaurants, RV, Marine and others. We fix existing items so our customers get more out of their investment and keep the items out of landfills.
A successful candidate will be:
- Customer Focused
- Motivated
- Reliable
- Have their own transportation
- Be able to distinguish colors ( can not be color blind )
- Like to work with their hands
- High School Diploma
- Some post high school training ( Community college classes, College Classes, Certifications )
- Be able to work in awkward sometimes cramped locations
- Upholstery skills – Optional
- Automotive Trim – Optional
In a normal day a field technician may be repairing a cigarette burn on a car seat, repairing scratches on a sofa or recliner, installing booth seats, or fixing a tear on a boat cushion. Every day is something different.
Candidates can work either Part time, Full time as independent contractors.
Compensation is $10 per hour during training which normally lasts 6 weeks. After training is completed commission will be paid. Base pay may will increase over time.
