“I purchased a very expensive flex steel chair which listed in excess of 3000 dollars approximately 18 years ago. About 12 years ago the chair needed structural repair and true to their word flex steel honored their life time warrenty and repaired the chair. This chair has had very heavy use and recently we started looking for a replacement as the leather was looking pretty bad and even had a piece of the core binding strip exposed. During this process my wife had contacted some local businesses that were potential sources to attempt a repair on the chair. After slow responses and some too far gone comments we received a prompt response from Joe Day at Fibrenew who gave us a tenative quote to come and replace the foam in the chair cushion and repair damage to the leather on the chair. My wife arranged a convenient time for Joe to come to our home to pick up the cushion to take back to his shop to initiate the work. He even questioned me on how firm I would like the cushion to be, informing me of the various options. He also looked at the chair and assured me that it would not be a problem to resolve any leather issues. Later that same day Joe returned with the cushion and completed the work on the chair. It looks like it did when we purchased it 18 years ago and the cushions sits better than when it was new. Joe also used a dropcloth and was very respectful of home. Joe was able to do everything we could have hoped for and it was within his original quoted price. Prior to last week I never new Joe or even heard of his company but based solely on this experience I do not hesitate to recommend this man and this company to anyone that could benefit from the multitude of services they offer.
