John got back to me the same day I texted him about my job. He set up a time to visit a week later. Someone had spilled gorilla glue on our leather couch. He repaired that area and a few other worn areas and the couch literally looks brand new.

Quality and Integrity! I don't normally write reviews but John Kelley's work on the leather seat of my Acura RSX compelled me to do so. I had a broken seam on my passenger seat cushion and contacted John to see if it was a repair he could make. He promptly responded with a quote and scheduled an appointment for me. He initially tried to restitch the seam by hand. However as it became apparent that the leather was too stiff for this method he was honest in letting me know. I thought I was out of luck but he then explained that the proper method would be to remove the seat cover and restitch by machine. He removed the seat and estimated that he could have it repaired by the end of the week. To my surprise he called the very next day to let me know that the repair was made and he came right to my home to reinstall it in my car. The seat looked great and although a superior method was used for the repair John honored his initial cost estimate. Thanks!
John was the consummate professional and very knowledgeable and skilled. We had purchased a high end couch and chair set that were very worn. We had sent him photos prior to getting it confirming that it could be restored. He gave a detailed response and estimate based on photos but then after we had it in possession, came to see it for a more accurate estimate. He came to us for the restoration, did an outstanding job matching the color and restored it to like new condition. All within 2 days! I had John come out a couple times. My leather sectional and chairs took a pretty good beating from my dogs. John did amazing work to bring them back to looking brand new. He also took care of a rip in my sons truck seat. He repaired it smoothed it out and again looks brand new. I would highly recommend John from Fibrenew he’s the best around!

John does truly amazing work. He not only cleaned a sooty leather art deco recliner, but also dyed it perfectly like it was his own. The kind of care he took with the 70 yr old recliner (a family heirloom) reflected the love he has for the work. His expertise puts him, at least in my mind, like the artist that he is. My wife and I could not be more pleased that we had John treat her father’s favorite chair with all the careful attention it surely deserved. I highly recommend John for working to renew any furniture where one must ultimately trust the worker and the work.

Only hire this company! My leather couch was totally ruined by butter and we scrubbed it so much that small pin holes had formed. John melted new fabric over the spot and then recolored the area. The couch looks amazing!!!! He took so much time on it and made the couch like new. Do not go anywhere else!

We had 2 leather car seat issues that were fixed and repair… One was a front seat with a good size tear that required patching and matching, we are very happy with that.The other was a consul armrest which had acetone nail polish remover spilled on it, John was able to repair it we are thrilled with how it came out

I had 3 small tears in an Aqua Patio boat seat repaired by John on 5/4/20. The repair was absolutely flawless. Perfectly matched and blended. Excellent experience dealing with John. I traveled 90 miles to bring the seat to him and it was well worth the effort. I highly recommend his services as he is a true craftsman.
John did a fantastic job repairing and restoring my two couches. They both are over 25 years old and were very expensive back in the day. One had a cushion that started to tear from use and he was able to repair and match the color and cleaned the whole couch - it looks brand new again. I had him look at a love seat which was Aniline leather, faded and stained. He cleaned and conditioned it and it looks great. I'm very happy with the results.
I searched the web to locate a business that offered vinyl restoration to repair a tear and crack in my BMW's drivers seat. After reviewing the pictures on the Fibrenew website it was obvious this was the place to go. I set up an appointment with John Kelly who inspected the car prior to setting up a date to complete the restoration. He completed the work in Woburn, although I live on the Cape. John Kelley just resurrected my otherwise clean and rust free car's interior from the dead. I have owned this now-18 year old car for 3+ years. I had always planned on refreshing the leather, but it took until now (with additional wear) to finally address it.

This fellow's service is timely, detailed to a near industrial art form, and worth every penny. I have not been asked to say anything by owner of local branch. I have had the pleasure of having a 16 year old Lexus SC430 eccru (off white) leather seat areas be put into a tint and evenness that is almost like a Back To The Future DeLorean effect-my seats previously looked like a Fusion Processor overflowed with dirt particles over thm! Suddenly, my car has new meaning, when I drive it, and when I choose to sell it-this is no fly by night operation (anyone heard of Dent Wiz. anymore?). The owner/operator knows that people keep cars longer, and stands behind his work nearly as much as a 1.21 gigawatt(1,210,000,000 watts) power supply for time traveling cars, (plutonium-powered nuclear reactor not included)! Seriously, enjoy your ride again, til' we don't need cars!

Total transformation! We had our 12 year old leather couch completely redone / repainted. It looks like new! All the way around Terre that five people in a dog did over the years is gone. It was amazing to watch John do the work, he spent about 10 hours on it first preparing the leather then matching the color perfectly, and then finishing it off. It's clear that he really committed Quality. I highly recommend them to anybody who has any kind of leather needed to be refurbished.
We contacted John to repair a discolored area of our leather sofa. I wanted to wait a while before offering a review because I wanted to see how the color would hold after a few weeks. My wife and I can say it looks terrific, and John was able to match the color extremely well, and it is now almost indistinguishable from the original. This is very impressive since the couch is about 15 years old. John was reliable in his communications with us and his bill was exactly what had been quoted to us. He took his time with the work and his attention to detail was outstanding. We will not hesitate to contact John again should we require any of the services which he provides!

I was buying a used couch with cracked cushions and wanted to get a quote beforehand on how much it costs to reupholster. The person on the phone (assuming it was the owner) did a fantastic job of explaining to me why it's a bad purchase and I should steer clear of it - given that the couch was under 5 years old and had a lot of cracks, he explained that it's probably not a good couch.
He was losing my business but had my best interest in mind - that's real integrity. If I ever need leather work done, I'm going back here.

Just had my Drivers side front seat repaired by John Kelly owner / operator of Fibrenew Burlington. I must say the workmanship he performs was beyond my imagination. The re-dye of my damaged seat is totally amazing and the leather color match was exact....

I thought I must be nuts retinting a single front seat in my car, but he came almost perfectly to matching the dye color. Oh, and price wise, he worked for $400 while my local upholsterer would want 800-1000, and Lexus/Toyota parts would do for $3-4K!!!!
He's a soft seller, not a truck full of snake oils and extra "detailing" kits I don't need right now. He was on time and completed work as predictably as possible-his charge card IOS phone app did not generate an immediate receipt but he sent the correct details from home as soon as he got there.
Wow! A great job restoring the seats on a used card we just purchased. I had not known a service like this existed and was not sure what to expect - however the experience was great. John gave an overview of the process and how he would restore the seats, came out to the office, and did the job while I was at work. Fast, easy, and most important - they look almost new. A HUGE improvement - there had been several 'wrinkles' in the leather seats from normal use - they are now all back to tight and firm.
John also warranties the repair, so if it slips back to wrinkled, he will return for a second attack -
a nice piece of mind for the repair.
I wish I had known this service existed before - could have used it to spruce up a couple older cars we had. 🙂
