As the narrator, of sorts, for Fibrenew Upstate, I find myself celebrating my Birthday and the FULL MOON, simultaneously, on June 15th. I’ve always loved the month of June and not just because it’s My BD Month, but also because traditionally, in the South, June is synonymous with school’s out, ice cream churnin’, bare footin’, fire fly chasin’, skinny dippin’ nights ! (Not to mention June Cleaver!) What’s not to like about June??
Rick and I have already begun to reap the benefits and are thankful for our little poolside, suburban garden. We’re also relieved that after a long dry spell, we’ve been blessed with 6 straight days of afternoon June thunderstorms. And those that know, know that ‘you can’t fool Mother Nature’ with an irrigation system!
As I snapped this picture of our first of the season vegetable medley, I realized that our business, Fibrenew Upstate, is very much like our garden . . . locally grown and tended (operated), backed by our attention to detail, expertise and lots of tlc.
