Philippe is an artist. My son drew on our new leather couch with a ballpoint pen. I tried fixing with hand sanitizer which I turned out to be a seriously bad idea because it stripped the top coat of the leather. Philippe was able to match the color exactly and make it look as good as new in few hours.
Would like to give a shoutout to this business since Phillepe was so professional that he refused to do a repair because he knew it wouldn't "hold" for very long and we would be dissatisfied. He gave us helpful options etc. I asked him what his fee was for coming out and he said nothing. He would only appreciate a referral if any of my neighbors or friends needed his help in the future. I felt a posting to Yelp would be the way to go!
Philippe came to our home and repaired the leather on my car seat .- We liked his work so much that we had him clean and repair our leather chair and sofa so scratches are no longer visible - both pieces look really good and years younger.

This guy can fix almost anything so before you through it away or have it reupholstered give Phillippe a call and I think you will love his French accent. I have talked in depth on several matters and he is a very honest person who relay cares about his customers.
Top of the line service! I never thought I would get the stain out of my carpet in my office and of course I made it worse trying to do it myself. Philippe with Fibrenew worked diligently until it was all gone. I have also used the leather products on my car seats and they are fantastic.

Fibrenew of South Austin (Philippe) did a wonderful job of repairing my loveseat and sofa. He gave me great advice, saved me money by telling me how to do some of the preparation work myself, and he completed the repair. I honestly thought my loveseat was permanently discolored. Philippe helped me understand how the leather finish worked and what needed to be done. He was honest, direct, and always followed-up. Philippe did a fantastic job repairing the seats in our Volvo. Painless estimation process. Prompt and courteous scheduling (even after I forgot the original appointment). Honest approach to business. When Philippe started work on the car, one of the seats required more work than the pictures indicated, but he stood by the original estimate. 6 STARS. I sure wish I could wave a wand and make it happen for Philippe and his business. His web site is simple in that you take a photo of the damage and they will get back in touch with you with estimate for repair. I left my message and uploaded my photos on Saturday at 8PM. Would they make contact with me?
Philippe called me on Monday about lunch and just happened to be around my neighborhood. I met him at the house and he came in, looked at our torn couch and gave us several solutions to remedy the repair. He is a true artisan and can fix just about anything including a cracked car dash.
So lets review. Simple and easy to use web site, he actually calls you back, he's honest and is a solution finder. YEP, he's 6 stars alright.
Could not say enough great things about Fibrenew, I felt so comfortable with Craig being in the house with me alone. They're very professional and most importantly my couch looks new again!! I would highly suggest using them! Worth every penny! Once my couch drys I'll post before and after pics!
Great service, honest approach. Phillipe came out to repair my furniture on a rainy day. When he was here, he was able to better assess my needed repairs. He told me that the lack of lighting due to the rain wasn't optimal and made arrangements with me for another time. The work was well done and he was very professional.
The leather on two of my car door panels had started to peel off. Philippe was very professional and worked with me to best accommodate my schedule to get the job done. The finished product was better than I expected and the quoted price to repair the two door panels was half the price I paid to have a previous door panel repaired through another service. The convenience of mobility along with the quality of the service Philippe provided has earned my business as a returning customer for any restoration services I may need in the future. I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma, the driver's side leather seat had bad wear and tear from frequent use. Philippe came to my house, looked at it, offered an unbelievable lowest price for the work to fix and repair the seat. He did the work at my house, and the work was amazing. The seat looks brand new. If you're looking at replacing your leather seat, give him a call before doing so, he might be able to restore it.
I had a small repair performed on a treatment table in my clinic. I had called two other repair services prior to calling Philippe Barbaroux at Fibrenew. One of the other companies "no showed" our appointment. The other company actually did show up, gave me the price of the repair and said he would be back in the morning. He never came back. I called Philippe and he was kind enough to come out and have a look the next day. Philippe and I agreed to a Saturday morning appointment. Philippe was on time, did a great job, cleaned up the area afterwards and the table repair looks great. I would not hesitate recommending Philippe for vinyl or leather repair.
Phillipe just left my house and I have not stopped smiling. The repairs he made to my sectional were wonderful! I can't tell where the repairs are. And he didn't leave a mess like some repairmen do. Happy to recommend him to anyone.
