About Us

Pat Benes and Ann Novacek married on Sept. 1, 1984. Pat along with his brother  farmed approx. 1000 acres of corn and soybeans.  He also raised hogs, a farrow to finish operation.  Ann elected to be a stay at home farm wife. She did this for the first 11 years of their marriage. During this time the boys, Nicholas, Clifton and Peter, came along. When Peter, the youngest, went to school she found herself in the workforce. A common occurance for farm wifes to help support the family. About 4 1/2 years later they were blessed with a daughter, Catherine, and Elizabeth came along about 2 years after that. 2001 brought some hard times for the farmers. Pat decided to diversify. He wanted something he could do part time because he still wanted to farm. On the internet he came across this business called Fibrenew, that repaired and restored leather and plastics. After much decision they purchased their franchise in November of 2001, naming it Fibrenew Lincoln. Their territory included Lancaster, Seward, Butler, and Saunders counties. Things were slow going for awhile but that was to be expected when starting up and learning a new business. Slowly things built up and before they realized it, it was now a full-time job. Decision time again. This time it was Ann’s turn. January 31, 2004 she quit her full-time job. The next day she was on the road with Pat learning the Fibrenew business first hand. She really enjoys helping people with their leather and plastic problems.
