If you are here you probably have a problem !  I’d like to help. I’m David Bryant and I repair and fix stuff you probably did not know could be fixed.  Please take a few minutes and look through the photo gallery to see some of my repairs.

This is the section where I’m supposed to tell you all about myself, some personal and professional experiences and that kind of JUNK- So here it is———

 Raised in Rocky Mount, Eagle Scout and God and Country Award winner.

  Mediocre student in high school , but had good SAT scores. ( I liked Chemistry so much — I took it twice )  .  Slid out of college by getting a 3.5 GPA 2nd semester senior year, bringing my overall GPA to a steller 2.1, , however my diploma  just says “B.S. in Business Administration” . I went to The Citadel, in Charleston, SC.  I spent most of my time there trying to sneak off campus ( its a military school) to meet my wife Rosemary (33 years ).  

 Went to work with my dad as a sales rep. selling food service equipment. Moved to Hattiesburg MS in 1980 and traveled a 5 state area. I was elected Individual Developement Vice President of the Mississippi Jaycees in 1981,  and statewide President in 1982. AWSOME EXPERIENCE !

 I did so well with the rep business I got FIRED.  Recieved a check for $12,553.00 for one months commission and a 30 day notice of dimissal in the same envelope  ( I still have the letter and ckeck stub).  It reminds me to never put myself in a position where some jerk in Chicago can write me a letter with the result that my house gets reposesed.  IT WAS NOT A GOOD YEAR.

 So I tucked my tail between my legs and moved back to Rocky Mount to be close to my family.

 In 1986 I purchased Chair and Equipment Rentals in Rocky Mount. The next 17 years were HARD WORK.  Our largest tent went from 2250 Square Feet to 18,000 Square Feet. We traveled as far away as Arizona setting up special events.

Along the way we were named the Rocky Mount Chambers Small Business of the Year in 2000,  and as a NEER Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2001. We also opened two equipment rental locations and purchased an existing portable toilet business.

In 2003 I sold Chair and Equipment to Brian James.  PLEASE RENT YOUR TENTS AND SPECIAL EVENT EQUIP.  FROM CHAIR AND EQUIP., YOUR EQUIPMENT FROM HALIFAX RENTALS OR NASH EQUIPMENT RENTALS, AND YOUR PORTABLE TOILETS FROM ADVANCED PORTABLE TOILETS.     Because Brian still sends a check every month.

         
                                                                                                                                                                                                      I LOVE FIBRENEW !  I am a skills kind of person. I build custom cabinets, furniture, weld ( Mig, Tig, and Stick ), do stained glass. I live on 40 acres in the woods ,  playing with the horses. I also haul show horses ( easy work, pays good, but spotty ) , and drive a horse and carriage  for a friend to pick up Christmas money ( see link to Horsin Around ).

My IICRC certifications include : Upholstry and Fabric Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Odor Control, Tile Stone and Grout Cleaning and Carpet Color Restoration ( dying nylon and wool ).
