The Business
Fibrenew of Colorado Springs is a franchise owned by Darrell and Lynn Dearman. The Franchise headquarters is located in Calgary, AB and was founded in 1985. The industry leader in leather and plastic restoration, they serve a number of industries – residential and commercial furniture, automotive, recreational, aviation, and medical. They provide cleaning, repairing and restoration for leather, plastic and vinyl products. They also provide consulting about the different types of leather so consumers and businesses get the most out of their investment.

The Owners
Born in El Paso, TX, Darrell lived up and down the east coast. He met Lynn in NC and they married after his graduation from NC State in 1988. Together they have lived in OK, CA, FL, NC, Japan, and CO. Although a pilot in a variety of jet and prop-driven aircraft for the first 17 years of his career, his final two assignments were on the 13 AF Staff in Japan and the USAF Academy Staff here in Colorado Springs.

Upon retirement, they considered many possibilities for this new phase of life. Working with Tamyra Wallace, an outstanding franchise consultant, Darrell and Lynn found the opportunity of starting a small business the best next step in the American dream. Fibrenew offered the right lifestyle business opportunity to begin this new journey.

Darrell and Lynn both love the Colorado Springs area and look forward to living and being a part of this community for many years to come.
